Movie Review - Gamer

First of all, I don't find this movie entertaining at all, the plot just isn't that much interesting from what I am expecting. At the beginning of the movie, I feel it's quite nonsense and 'stupid' for what they are actually showing, with a virtual reality-like game where the player can gain control of prisoners to battle in a battlefield to gain their freedom (not giving spoiler here, you can watch the trailer and know it anyway). The concept is not boring, just the way they are filming it are totally out of sense.

For an action-based film, this movie just way too far from achieving it. The director who is trying to create network connectivity distractions between the player and the soldier, but I guess it won't be necessary in doing that, it's just distracting the scenes and makes it worst.

Gerard Butler (Kable) didn't do much talking in the film, and Micahel C. Hall (Ken Castle) is even worst, the part when he dance makes me totally sweat. Overall, I can't say this movie sucks totally, but it's just doesn't fit to be a good action movie.
