A sense of humour @ Ah' Basri Satay House

Went to Ah' Basri Satay House at Sungai Ara for dinner last night. Both my sweetie and I settled down at a table and start looking at the menu to order our set. We ordered two sets of Satay chicken with tomato rice, and then proceeded to order the drinks. This is where the sweat-ness comes in under this conversation.

Looking at the picture above (sorry for my lousy phone cam), the coconut drink seems very good to have a try. And then my sweetie ordered one. But guess what are responses from the person who was taking our order?

Waitress: "Itu untuk tengok sahaja...". (trans. "That is for display only")

I immediately raises my eyebrows, widening my eyeballs with an expression full of sweat-ness. I replied: "Huh?!! Tengok sahaja??!!!". (trans. "What?!! Display only??!!!")

Waitress: "Ya...".

Me: "Err... =.=|| " Still with this expression.

Waitress: "Ya... ini belum". (trans. "Yup.. not yet")

Me: "Maksud awak, ini belum jual atau habis kah??". (trans. "You mean haven't start selling or finished is it?"

Waitress: "Ahh, ya ya ya...".

LoL! This is really making me sweat big time with the answer of "Itu untuk tengok sahaja", meaning can see cannot eat.

Hi Sam,

No problem at all. I went there few times after that and I am aware that the coconuts are available now. My girlfriend ordered that before, but if you would want me to comment, the coconut doesn't taste much good, maybe you should change supplier.

Just a piece of comment. And don't worry about your foods, they taste quite good.
