Movie Review - The Taking of Pelham 123

As the poster says it all, The Taking of Pelham 123 which was aired in cinema from July 23rd 2009 onwards in our local cinema. Let me just start with the review here.

First of all, great plot! Although the ending seems like back to 'zero' where all the effort John Travolta spent in turning U.S. economic market upside-down to yield a high amount of earning in resulted of his hijack of Pelham 123 train and killed a numbers of hostages. Basically it is a typical ending.

Denzel Washington is doing great again in this show, not as a usual fierce and action figurines, but instead as a guy who just worked as a train dispatcher, that one day receive a call from Dennis Ford, code named "Ryder" (a.k.a John Travolta) that the train Pelham 123 has been hijacked. He demand for ransom in 1 hour through Walter Garber (Denzel) and do not wish to talk to anybody, else he will have hostages killed - this is the best part. He starts killing off hostages without tolerances when Garber is being ordered by the negotiator to step aside...

In my very own opinion, this movie is rated above average that is worth a catch. If you wish to have some kind of thrillers in this time around where not much of options available in cinema.
